Privacy Policy
Last updated October 10, 2026
This policy explains what data our apps and website use, why, and what you can do about it.
Who we are
After Dark Apps LTDA (CNPJ 60.352.246/0001-54), Av. Anita Garibaldi, 850, conj. 803, Cabral, Curitiba, PR, 80540-400, Brazil, is responsible for the data described here. For any privacy question or request, write to hi@afterdarkapps.com.
This policy covers our apps Style Mirror, The QR Code Reader & Generator, Rouba Monte - Rubamazzo, Super LED Banner and Color Palettes - Boreal, and this website.
The short version
- Our apps have no user accounts. We don’t ask for your name, email or phone number inside them.
- Our apps use third-party services for ads, analytics and crash reports. These services collect device identifiers, usage data and diagnostics. We don’t treat that data as anonymous.
- Style Mirror sends the photos you choose to our server and to OpenAI only to create your look. We delete them from our server within one day, and your looks are saved only on your phone.
- Purchases are handled by Apple or Google. We never see your card details.
- If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you send.
What each app uses
- Style Mirror (iOS and Android): virtual try-on. When you create a look, the app sends your photo and the clothing photos you picked to our server (Cloudflare), which sends them to OpenAI to generate the image. Photos are used only to create that look: they are not used to train AI models, are not sold and are deleted from our server within one day (OpenAI may keep API data for up to 30 days to detect abuse, then deletes it). We don’t create face templates or identify anyone. Your photos and looks are saved only on your device. The app uses a random device code (no name, email or account) to count your free look and monthly looks. Subscriptions are handled by Apple or Google and checked through RevenueCat. Analytics from Google Firebase. Notifications when a look is ready, if you allow them. Photos of children, nudity, swimwear and underwear are not allowed.
- Rouba Monte - Rubamazzo (iOS and Android): ads from Google AdMob, and on Android also from Meta Audience Network through AdMob. Analytics and crash reports from Google Firebase. Local reminder notifications, if you allow them. Your game progress, settings and achievements are stored only on your device.
- The QR Code Reader & Generator (iOS): ads, analytics and crash reports, plus optional in-app purchases and subscriptions. The camera is used to scan codes; you can turn camera access off in your device settings.
- Super LED Banner (iOS): ads, analytics and crash reports, plus an optional one-time purchase.
- Color Palettes - Boreal (iOS): ads, analytics and crash reports.
The exact data types each app collects are listed on its App Store page under “App Privacy” and, for Rubamazzo, under “Data safety” on Google Play.
What is collected and why
Advertising. Ad services collect data such as your device’s advertising identifier (on iPhone, only if you allow tracking), IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. They use it to show and measure ads and to prevent fraud. Ads may be personalized based on this data; see “Your choices” to limit it.
Analytics and crash reports. These services collect app and installation identifiers, the screens and features you use, device model, system version and crash details. We use them to understand how the apps are used and to fix problems.
Purchases. Apple or Google processes the payment and tells the app which purchases are active, so it can unlock paid features.
Support emails. When you write to us, we use your message to reply. Our email runs on Google Workspace.
Legal bases
We rely on our legitimate interest to run analytics and crash reports, keep the apps secure and answer your messages. We rely on your consent where it is required, such as tracking on iPhone. Purchases are processed to provide what you bought. Where these bases apply under Brazil’s LGPD or the GDPR, you can object to or withdraw from them as described below.
Your choices
- Tracking on iPhone: our apps that track ask for permission first. You can change it anytime in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- Advertising ID on Android: you can reset or delete it in your device’s Google or privacy settings.
- Notifications and camera: you can turn these permissions off in your device settings.
- Local data: deleting an app removes the data it stored on your device.
Who we share data with
We share data only with the service providers that run these features, each under its own privacy policy:
- Google (AdMob, Firebase, Workspace): Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from apps
- Meta (Audience Network, Rubamazzo on Android): Privacy Policy
- Apple and Google, for purchases made in their stores
- OpenAI (Style Mirror image generation): Privacy Policy
- Cloudflare (Style Mirror server): Privacy Policy
- RevenueCat (Style Mirror subscriptions): Privacy Policy
- Vercel, which hosts this website: Privacy Policy
We may also disclose data when the law requires it.
Where data is processed
Our providers process data in the United States and other countries. Brazil and the European Union recognize each other’s data protection as adequate. For other transfers, we rely on the safeguards available in our providers’ terms and on the grounds allowed by the LGPD and the GDPR.
How long data is kept
Data held by our providers is kept according to their policies and our account settings with them. We keep support emails for as long as we need them to handle your request and keep our records. Style Mirror photos are deleted from our server within one day. Data stored in the apps stays on your device until you delete it or the app.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to confirm, access, correct, delete or port your data, to know who we share it with, and to withdraw consent. Email hi@afterdarkapps.com and we will answer as soon as we can.
Because our apps have no accounts, we usually can’t link app data to you by name. We’ll tell you what we can do and point you to the provider when the data is held by them. You can also complain to Brazil’s data protection authority, the ANPD, or to the authority in your country.
Children
Our apps are made for a general audience and are not designed for children. If you believe a child has used our apps and want data removed, contact us and we’ll help, including by asking our providers where needed.
This website
This site uses no cookies, analytics or ads. Our host, Vercel, processes technical data such as your IP address and browser to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect data, and our providers use their own safeguards. No system is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We’ll post any update on this page with a new date. If a change is significant, we’ll highlight it here before it takes effect.
