Who we are

These terms apply to the apps and website of After Dark Apps LTDA (CNPJ 60.352.246/0001-54), Av. Anita Garibaldi, 850, conj. 803, Cabral, Curitiba, PR, 80540-400, Brazil. By using them you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use them.

Apps from the App Store

If you download one of our apps from Apple’s App Store, your license to use it is Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). These terms add information about our apps and don’t replace it. If the two conflict, the Standard EULA prevails for iOS apps.

Apps from Google Play and this website

For our Android apps and this website, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them for your own non-commercial purposes, following these terms and the Google Play Terms of Service.

What you can’t do

• Use the apps to break the law or to harm, deceive or spam others, including through QR codes you create.
• Copy, resell or redistribute the apps, or remove our notices.
• Reverse-engineer the apps, except where the law allows it.
• Interfere with the apps, their ads or the services behind them.

Your content and ours

What you create in the apps, such as QR codes, banner messages and color palettes, is yours. You are responsible for it.

In Style Mirror, only upload photos you have the right to use, of yourself or of adults who agreed. Photos of children, nudity, swimwear and underwear are not allowed. Looks are created by AI: they are an approximation of how clothes may look, not a guarantee of fit, size or color. The looks you create are yours to keep and share.

The apps, their design, names and our original artwork belong to After Dark Apps. Some parts come from third parties or open-source projects and remain under their own licenses.

Purchases and subscriptions

Some apps offer optional paid features. Payments are made through Apple or Google under their terms. The price, period and what you get are shown before you confirm.

• Renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel. On the App Store, cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge.
• Style Mirror Pro: monthly or yearly subscription with a monthly number of looks shown in the app. Unused looks don’t carry over to the next month.
• Free trials and intro offers: when offered, they turn into a paid subscription at the end unless you cancel before then.
• Manage or cancel: in your Apple account subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Restore: eligible purchases can be restored on another device signed in to the same store account.
• Refunds: requested from the store, following its policies: Apple or Google Play.

These terms don’t limit any consumer rights you have by law.

Ads

Free apps may show ads from third parties. We don’t create those ads. If you see an inappropriate one, tell us at hi@afterdarkapps.com.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data the apps and this website use.

Changes to the apps

We update our apps to improve them and keep them working, and we may retire an app or feature. We’ll try to give reasonable notice of significant changes, and we won’t take away features you paid for without offering what the law or store rules require.

Warranty and liability

We work to keep the apps reliable, but we can’t promise they will always be error-free or available. To the extent the law allows, the apps are provided “as is”, and we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that can’t be excluded by law, including your rights as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

We’ll post updated terms on this page with a new date. For significant changes, we’ll give notice here before they take effect. If you don’t agree, you can stop using the apps and cancel any subscription.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. If you are a consumer, you keep the protections and the right to go to court that the law of your country gives you.
